Return and Refund Policy

At Bapst Handpan, we do everything we can to ensure your satisfaction. Here is our return and refund policy, applicable to all orders placed on our site.

Article 1 – Shipping and packaging

We ship worldwide via FedEx Express Shipping.

  • All shipments are internationally traceable and insured up to the full value of the goods shipped.
  • Our handpans are carefully packaged with FOAM acoustic panels, providing excellent shock absorption and protection.
  • Delivery costs are calculated automatically when the order is placed.

Article 2 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the order.

To exercise this right, the customer must :

  1. Contact us at charles@bapst-handpan.com to notify your return request.
  2. Return the product to the following address:

    Via del Fosso del Torrino 19/66
    00144 ROMA (ITALY)

Returned products must be in perfect condition, complete and in their original packaging.

Article 3 – Return shipping costs

  1. Returns for defects covered by the warranty (within 14 days):
    If the product has a defect covered by the warranty (for example, a tuning problem within 14 days of receipt), Bapst Handpan will pay the return shipping costs.

  2. Return for change of mind (after 14 days):
    If the return is due to a change of mind or an order error, return and reshipment costs will be charged to the customer.

Article 4 – Refunds

Once the product has been returned and inspected, a refund will be issued subject to the following conditions:

  • The product must be returned in new, undamaged condition, with all accessories.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned product.

Refunds will be made by the same method of payment used for the order.

If you have not received your refund within 10 days of confirmation, please contact us at charles@bapst-handpan.com.

Article 5 – Products damaged on delivery

Upon receipt of your package, it is imperative to check its condition:

  • If the parcel is damaged, refuse it immediately with the carrier.
  • If a damaged parcel is accepted, Bapst Handpan cannot be held responsible for any damage to the products.

Article 6 – Retuning and after-sales service

  1. Tuning problem within 14 days:
    Contact us immediately for free warranty service.

  2. Retuning after 14 days:
    Retuning is possible but will be invoiced at between €50 and €200 inc. tax, depending on the handpan model, with shipping costs to be borne by the customer.

  3. Breakage, shock, damaged handpan: If your handpan has suffered damage, contact us at charles@bapst-handpan.com, explaining the situation and sending us photos. We’ll see how we can help.
